The Scholarships have been generously funded by His Grace Bishop Daniel, who has personally empowered St Cyril&#8217;s and now has sought to encourage the theological formation of the next generation of lay and clerical leaders. <em>To apply for this scholarship, please read the terms and conditions and submit your application (link is at the bottom) by the due date. <\/em><strong>Note:<\/strong> No late applications will be considered.<\/p>\n<h5><div class=\"gk-textblock\" data-style=\"style2\"><strong>Closing Date for 2024 Applications:<\/strong><\/div><\/h5>\n<p>Scholarship Applications must be received at St Cyril\u2018s by 5.00 pm 9<sup>th<\/sup> January 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Successful applicants will be notified by 25<sup>th<\/sup> January 2024.<\/p>\n<h5><\/h5>\n<h5><div class=\"gk-textblock\" data-style=\"style2\"><strong>Selection Criteria<\/strong><\/div><\/h5>\n<h5><\/h5>\n<p>The successful applicant will be selected on weighted criteria determined by the St Cyril\u2018s Scholarship Committee, that includes: application essay (500 words), evidence of financial hardship, Parish priest recommendations, previous academic performance, commitment to ecclesial service<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the successful applicant must:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident<\/li>\n<li>have submitted an <a href=\"http:\/\/stcyrils.edu.au\/index.php\/admission-application\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Application for Admission<\/a><\/li>\n<li>be able to commence study in Semester 1, 2024<\/li>\n<li>have submitted the application by the closing date. Late applications will not be accepted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"gk-textblock\" data-style=\"style2\"><b>Conditions of Award<\/b><\/div>\n<p><strong>Scholarship Conditions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This scholarship covers 50% of the program tuition fees for the minimum number of units required to complete the program the scholarship is awarded for unless otherwise stated.<\/li>\n<li>The scholarship recipient is required to pay the remaining tuition fees.<\/li>\n<li>The successful applicant must commence study in Semester 1 2024.<\/li>\n<li>The successful applicant must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.<\/li>\n<li>Late applications will not be accepted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Duration of Award:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The maximum period of tenure for the scholarship is for the standard full-time or part-time duration of the program unless otherwise stated.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Termination of Award:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The scholarship will be terminated:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If, after due enquiry, the Academic Board concludes that the student has not fulfilled their obligations, or is not making satisfactory progress.<\/li>\n<li>If the student has not resumed study after an approved maximum period of deferment of 6 months.<\/li>\n<li>If the student fails a unit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>\n<h5><div class=\"gk-textblock\" data-style=\"style2\"><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/div><\/h5>\n<p>Please download, fill, and sign the <a href=\"https:\/\/stcyrils.edu.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/SCTC-Scholarship-Application.docx\">Scholarship Application<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Once filled please email the Scholarship Application to <a href=\"mailto:registrar@stcyrils.edu.au\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">registrar@stcyrils.edu.au <\/a>by the closing date.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1602472517823{margin-top: -50px !important;}&#8221;] St Cyril\u2018s invites outstanding students to apply for undergraduate and postgraduate coursework scholarship to cover 50% of tuition fees across the offered degrees.
