It offers a groundbreaking study of the early intellectual development of the Cambridge Platonists during the English Civil Wars, foregrounding their role in shaping the modern philosophy of religion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By examining debates around predestination, the nature of God, and the place of reason in faith, Dr Kaldas situates the Cambridge Platonists within the wider context of seventeenth-century religious controversy\u2014providing both a fresh interpretation and an accessible introduction to their thought.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This work marks a significant contribution to the fields of early modern philosophy, theology, and intellectual history.
