Orr Professor of New Testament at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary is St Cyril\u2019s Summer Lecturer for 2021. She will be teaching a semi-intensive unit on <a href=\"https:\/\/stcyrils.edu.au\/index.php\/course-units\/b9668-johannine-literature\/\">Johannine Literature<\/a>.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>St Cyril&#8217;s will be offering an exciting range of units going into the new year. The year will begin with a special \u201csemi-intensive\u201d unit delivered by our <strong>2021 Summer Lecturer, <\/strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Professor Edith Humphrey (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pts.edu\/humphreye\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Professor Edith Humphrey<\/strong><\/a> on <a href=\"https:\/\/stcyrils.edu.au\/index.php\/course-units\/b9668-johannine-literature\/\">Johannine Literature<\/a>, which will run over six consecutive weekends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other units on offer in semester 1 include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/stcyrils.edu.au\/index.php\/course-units\/t8501-introducing-theology\/\">Introducing Theology<\/a> (Fr Daniel Fanous)<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/stcyrils.edu.au\/index.php\/course-units\/t9612-traditional-readings-of-genesis-1-3\/\">Traditional Readings of Genesis 1\u20133<\/a> (Fr Doru Costache)<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/stcyrils.edu.au\/index.php\/course-units\/p8501-introduction-to-pastoral-and-practical-theology\/\">Patristics After Chalcedon<\/a> (Michael Ibrahim)<\/li><li><a href=\"http:\/\/handbook.mq.edu.au\/2017\/Units\/UGUnit\/AHIS268\">Coptic (via MQ Uni)<\/a> (Prof. Malcolm Choat)<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/stcyrils.edu.au\/index.php\/course-units\/a8570-nt-greek-ii\/\">NT Greek II<\/a> (Dr Seumas Macdonald)<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/stcyrils.edu.au\/index.php\/course-units\/a8510-introduction-to-biblical-hebrew\/\">Biblical Hebrew<\/a> (Prof. Rifaat Ebeid)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All units can be taken online or face-to-face (FEE-HELP available).
