Mina H. Samy was born in Cairo, moving to Sydney in 2011. With a background in Engineering, he went on to study theology at St Andrew’s Greek Orthodox Theological College and St Cyril’s Coptic Orthodox Theological College. A current doctoral candidate at the University of Sydney, his research focuses on liturgical studies (with a special focus on the Coptic liturgy), as well as the intersection between Theology and Liturgy.
