SCD Wellbeing Conference 2016

Two of St Cyril‘s Faculty on July 22-23, presented  papers at SCD‘s 2nd Annual Wellbeing Conference.

Fr Antonios Kaldas, Lecturer in Philosophy, presented a paper entitled: “Moral Judgement: Where Christianity and Cognitive Science Intersect;” and Fr Doru Costache, Senior Lecturer in Patristics, will be presenting: “Love All Equally: Asceticism, Dispassion and Altruism in Saint Maximus the Confessor.”

The theme of the conference was “Justice, Mercy and Social Wellbeing: Interdisciplinary Perspectives,” and included a number of fascinating papers. For photos of the event please see the album below:
